    LG Electronics CTO Division focuses on webOS development for smart TVs and signages. With webOS in more than 129 million smart TVs in homes worldwide, LGE is revolutionizing the living room with the new experience beyond TV. Web engine of webOS platform is based on chromium open source which powers both webOS web run-time and web browser
    We, LG CTO Software Center Vietnam (LG CTO SCV), soon to be established in Ha Noi, Vietnam to help evolve webOS as a virtually one team with our existing webOS scrum teams in Seoul, Banglaore & St. Petersburg.
    As the technical leader in LG CTO SCV, your roles & responsibilities will be as follows:
    • To lead/manage/hire the members in local dev. scrum teams for developing Chromium based web engine / browser which involves 1) upgrading open-source Chromium periodically 2) new feature development on Linux based target devices running webOS;
    • To communicate with developers and stakeholders in headquarter (Korea) regularly.

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
    • 5+ years of working experience with the following programming language: C/C++, Python, Javascript;
    • 3+ years of working experience in web engine (webkit-based or chromium-based) development;
    • Proven knowledge and working experience in the area of performance enhancement / memory optimization of web engine running on embedded Linux platform;
    • Good communication skill in English, mostly for the technical communication with the collaborating scrum teams.
