I. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
A. Travel Time
‐ Business trips with up to 80% of travel time.
B. Leaderships
‐ Manage pro-actively the development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, update and monitoring of Sanitation, quality and food safety Programs.
‐ Develop, administer policies and practices.
‐ Ensuring compliance with Food Safety Programs company and regulatory requirements by performing physical plant Audits (inspections and facilities testing).
‐ Develop Team Supervisors and hourly employees with varying levels of experience and education to solve and maintain day-to-day sanitation, quality, and regulatory issues.
‐ Coach team members to use the process and facilitate problem-solving on the floor
‐ Motivate the Operation teams to achieve compliance to Regulatory and Food Safety requirements. Motivate team members to achieve plan and regulatory goals.
‐ Initiate and implement projects.
‐ Provides comprehensive, timely, and value-added food safety/sanitation resource assistance to all facilities within the area of responsibility.
‐ Think quickly, creatively and challenge the team to do the same.
‐ Communicate cross-functionally between Stewarding staffs and food handlers to assist the team to solve Safety related operational issues.
‐ Responsible for maintaining records and reviewing documents cautiously to do regulatory compliances, meanwhile must be able to communicate with the QA team effectively and work cooperatively.
C. Training:
‐ Organize and facilitate team meetings to achieve a
continuous improvement process (examples: pre-shift, roundtables, spot trainings)
‐ Conduct presentations and formal training programs in order to improve team communication and engagement
‐ Participate in QA Consistency exercises (trainings)
‐ Participate in activies outside of Food Safety Manager & Specialist role to gain a better knowledge of other functionalities
D. Other:
‐ Establish food safety related SOPs, checklist, and other documentations if needed.
‐ Other task as assigned.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Hotel operations experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Global Food Safety and understanding of sanitation in a manufacturing setting (training will be provided).
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong professional integrity.
- Short and long-term "Project management skills", able to multi-tasking and deliver results within schedule & scope.
- Must be able to engage in problem-solving skills to help identify and solve potential issues in the field.
- Demonstrated leadership ability: Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make decisions quickly.
- Ability to give/receive constructive feedbacks to front of line Managers and employees.
- Comfortable working in a participative team environment: Ability to lead and participate in a team-based approach to decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment: Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Ability to work in noisy, wet, dirty, hot humid and cold environments.
- Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
- Must be tech savvy (must have hands-on modern technology).
