The Job
- Ensure the game's engine, editor, and associated tools are developed, debugged, maintained, and optimized.
- Help develop new and exciting gameplay and experience mechanics for new projects.
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions and innovative methods to improve the quality of implementation, performance, and usability of the editor, tools, and toolchain as a whole
- Participate in code reviews and help mentor fresher developers.
- Establish close partnerships with the project's content team in order to implement new game features and services
- Make sure the existing engine and tools are kept up-to-date by the latest developments (e.g. new SDKs or middleware) in the development pipeline.
- Write technical design documents, for milestones and internal use.
- Plan task scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment with the project management team.
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
- Identify and understand the technical requirements with the tech team.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology gaming trends.
Your Skills and Experience
- Able to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- The ability to gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Polish a game, maintain the code, fix bugs, and iron out any arising problems.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in creating 2D and 3D games with Unity.
- Experience using version control software (Git, SVN, Perforce).
- Experience working with API and Multiplayer Server Game.
- Solid understanding of OOPS, software/game programming/design patterns.
- Experience in creating and implementing UI design on mobile games.
- Write clean, reusable code to produce fully functional mobile applications.
