1. Under supervision of PE Manager:
- Manufacturing process optimization for efficiency and quality
- Evaluate process effectiveness
- Support manufacturing operations to meet production goals
- Evaluate new machines, materials, chemistries
- Troubleshoot process problems.
- Write procedures
- Design and run engineering tests (DOE)
- Contact suppliers for
technical support- Conduct risk assessments
- Run SPC teams and determine guidelines for SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Other tasks assigned by
Line Manager2. Under supervision of Head of Wet Process:
- Manage all Operators
- Hire, Train and assess workers
- Optimize daily workflow for efficiency, quality and on time delivery
- Conduct annual reviews for staff performance.
- Ensure proper set up of machines and provide a safe environment for production.
- Ensure adequate supplies of stock and consumables
- Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental standards are maintained.
- Control the 5S of his area of responsibility, ensuring a clean and safe working environment and that order and cleanliness policies are maintained.
- Ensure production stays on schedule. Meet daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
- Ensure that all departmental and personal KPI's are met.
- Ensure that quality targets are met.
- Maintain accurate records and produce written reports.
- Motivate his team towards operational success
- Support his staff, get answers to questions, and resolve problems as they arise.
- Keep Department head informed of all issues in departments
- Liaise with outside departments whenever required
- Support the promotion of a LEAN company culture in accordance with management policies
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Yêu cầu công việc
1. Educational Qualification: BS in Chemistry/ Engineering or 3+ years as a Chemical or Plating Engineer
2. Experience in years: Engineering or 3+ years as a Chemical or Plating Engineer
3. Related PCB/ FPCB Manufacturing Experience / Kinh nghiệm ngành sản xuất PCB/ FPCB
4. Main skills
- Experience using statistical analysis to drive decisions
- Experience leading a team
- Lab experience
- Excellent analytical and math skills
- Strong written and verbal
communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read plans, diagrams and blueprints.
- Ability to identify and solve problems - logical thinking processes
- Familiarity with DOE (Design of Experiments). If not formally trained, willingness to self-study
- Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control). If not formally trained, willingness to self-study
- "Hands on practicality" - willingness to do physical work on the production floor when necessary, such as when running engineering tests or evaluating process problems.
- Fully computer literate - able to fully utilize spreadsheet functions (Excel), write technical reports (Word), prepare presentations (PowerPoint)
- Team player - able to communicate with people of widely varying educational and skill levels
5. Linguistic skills:
- Ability to read, speak and understand English.
