Reporting to the After
sales Manager, you will be responsible for invoicing and claim submission for all warranty jobs.
• Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper
documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributor.
• Keeping track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.
• Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
• Keeping abreast of all factories recalls and announcements.
• Ensure recalls are administered and warranty claims are reconciled, and debt is controlled.
• Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to obtain payments.
• Ensure the accurate submissions of warranty and goodwill claims on a daily basis.
• Arranging for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmitting all rejected claims promptly.
• Ensure manufacturer standards are adhered to at all times and fully understand the warranty policy for each brand.
• Assisting with body shop warranty claims and following up on outstanding claims.
• English spoken and written.
• You will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong, cooperative relationships with the manufacturers & colleagues.
• Experience with Autoline DMS is not essential but this would be a distinct advantage.
• Automotive warranty experience and prior exposure to manufacturer warranty audits.
