Main Purpose of Position
Follow, monitor all production related activities in timely and quality manner.
To co‐ordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing process.
Specific Areas of Responsibility
Factory Management:
• Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets.
• Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met
• Writing management and technical reports and customers' charters
• Determining, negotiating and agreeing on production plan and strategy
• Monitoring performance
• Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
• Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
• Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
• Screening, recruiting and training new factory workers.
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
• Directing objectives to maximize profitability
• Collaborating with
quality control manager to establish and execute quality control processes.
• Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
• Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
• Supervising technical activities
• Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.
• Determining training needs
Resource Management:
To lead and manage a team of
production supervisors through sound personnel practices such as;

Co‐ordination and Liaison:
- Liaise with the Head of Engineering and Head of QA/QC to ensure that project contractual and quality requirements within the schedule are supported and maintained through all stages of
- Provide comprehensive communication to underpin effective working relationships.
- Contribute to Business Development and success of current projects by the internal referral and communication of appropriate information and intelligence, together with any project specific information.
Manufacture as to ensure project completion within the specified schedule.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reportees: Production Supervisors, Team Leaders
- Reports to: General Director - Operations

• Bachelor&039;s degree in engineering, business or a science-related field
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production; familiarity with sheet metal working and mechanical industry is also be necessary

• Detail-oriented, knowledge of shop math, machining, computers, communication, quality, safety, and team/independent working.
