*Scope of work:
*Working time: 6 days per week
- Manage (daily execution based on backwards scheduling) and development (strategic development) of the assigned department, including creating and implementing an area strategy map and control loops.
- Manage the shop floor activities, based on
production planning, and ensuring that job orders are started and finished within set requirements.
This includes, but is not limited to:
* Laser cutting
* Turret punching
* Clinching, tapping, riveting, rolling, deburring
* Stamping
* TIG & MIG Welding
* Resistance welding (stud-, spot-, seam)
* Press brake bending
- Prevent, manage & help solve disruptions within daily operations and resource, support, and facilitate selected solutions.
- Work together with the Technical office and Quality department to find and improve root causes of the (Lean Six Sigma) 7 wastes. Defect, Overproduction, Waiting, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Extra-Processing.
- Manage, develop, and control the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on the work floor, including building a supporting culture.
- Manage equipment related to daily operator maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair, and quick changeover, and prevent/minimize downtime.
- Structured and precise, with a strong focus on ERP and automation.
- Cool head and warm heart in times of pressure.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
- Sheet metal manufacturing, shop floor control,
quality control & measuring tools
- Result oriented.
- Strong in problem solving, keeping overview, prioritization, communication, and people management.
- University degree in
Mechanical engineering with at minimum of 3 years of management experience in sheet metal, or an equivalent College degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Pro-active handling and thinking.
- Strong in statistics, lean manufacturing, and identifying risks.
