The role works alongside the Head of Hospitality and is a person who has excellent general knowledge of
sales and marketing in both pre-opening and operational stages of the hotel life cycle. This person oversees the department's sales and marketing programs, and develops strategic sales and marketing objectives. He/she is in charge of the sales and marketing programs for the assigned hospitality properties, including:
Ha Long Plaza & Syrena Cruises
- Responsible for the daily sales efforts, the overall positioning, and development of customers
- Responsible for yield strategies, implementation, market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets
- Creates an effective Sales Programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the properties, their activities, culinary services, and personnel
- Understands the competitive landscape, local and feeder market dynamics, and changing customer needs to ensure property success
- Develops rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management
- Ensures all sales related activities support customer satisfaction, retention and
business development goals
- Identifies opportunities and drives the tracking of guest data across all touch points to customize the experience, drive revenue and improve loyalty and satisfaction
- Prepares, implements and compiles data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/ required

- Manages and liaises with marketing team to develop marketing programs and materials such as advertising, event support and online promotions for the restaurant chains
Other hospitality projects
- Assist Head of Hospitality in monitoring the positioning, sales and marketing strategies of the assigned hospitality projects
- Builds effective stakeholder relations across a diverse range of disciplines and projects, as no project is the same with another
- Mutually aligns stakeholder relations with internal stakeholders, hotel sales teams and a variety of consultants are expected
- Other duties as assigned by Head of Hospitality
Including but not limited to the following:
- A strong understanding of the way BIM Group conducts business and is an advocate of the company's culture
- Capability to liaise effectively and efficiently with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to design, develop and execute projects with speed and to a high standard
Degree in Business, Hospitality, or Hotel Management
6-8 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing environment with knowledge of all hotel business market segments. Be able to link-up other departments to the Hospitality Division that drives a culture of friendliness, openness and efficiency
Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
An innovative, data-driven mindset, knowledge of hotel sales and a consistent and proven ability to develop and execute effective commercial strategies
Possess a strong understanding of consumer mindset in the hospitality industry, as well as experience in top-tier meeting, incentive and social event sales
Proven ability to achieve objectives in a diverse and changing environment, strong organizational and
communication skills and effective time management
Adept at evaluating, plan building, scenario planning, execution, communication and management of large projects involving multiple and dependent disciplines
