Responsible for designing and architecting solutions in the commercial water heating segment for Vietnam operations. Achieve maximum sales growth and development of new accounts by leveraging the wide range of Ariston products, showcasing Ariston's integration capabilities, and designing best-of-breed solutions. The position is responsible for building the Ariston brand in Vietnam's commercial water heating space.
The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City. He/she hierarchically reports to the Sales & Trade MKT General Manager.
- The Pre-Sales Specialist collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and
technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers;
- Building relationships with Developers, Architects, and Consultants together with Sales
- Supports the commercial and project sales organization by securing the "technical close" in complex solutions;
- Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing efforts on maximizing the total impact of sales growth and profitability;
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Ariston;
- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support;
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements;
- Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal's "technical close";
- Provides professional development and coaching to team member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and sales skills;
- Develops water heating systems projects with the related technical reports, system layout & size, and any other documentation required by local legislation;
- Opportunistically pursues additional
business development opportunities within customer firms;
- Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure;
- Provides coaching/supervision for subordinates.

1. General Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, preferably with knowledge of water heating systems and energy efficiency;
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach);
- Excellent verbal and written English and Vietnamese communication skills;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
2. Key Success Factors
- Must be result-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment;
- Must possess 3/5 years' experience in the water heating sector or similar products with experience in electric storage water heaters, solar systems, heat pumps water heaters, and related technologies preferred in commercial business (B2B);
- Knowledge of the local technical legislation;
- Knowledge of technical software design (Ex. Autocad, Adobe Illustrator or Solar PV Calculator) is a plus.
3. Preferred Personal Characteristics
- Already has a portfolio of customers in the real estate and construction business, or among developers and architects.
