    • Assists in the recruitment and selection of faculty of the Software Development pathway and other pathways as needed
    • Assists in the training and development of faculty of the Software Development pathway and other pathways as needed
    • Maintain knowledge and skills to meet the demands of Broward College and SACS COC and ensure that all faculty in their span of control also meets those demands.
    • Ensure that all faculty in their span of control meets deadlines for submitting syllabi, grade reporting, and other administrative tasks.
    • Assist the registrar in planning out courses for the year.
    • Assist the marketing and recruitment team in marketing activities.
    • Assist in the development of additional activities, workshops, and events that aid in student life, the Software Development pathway, and other pathways as needed.
    • Assist in the development and management of the student success services/mentoring/tutoring for Software Development pathway and other pathways as needed.
    • Creates exciting and dynamic learning opportunities in the subject area.
    • Designs a variety of assessment strategies, both formative and summative, to allow students to demonstrate the applied learning skills.
    • Uses emerging technologies in the learning, teaching and assessments
    • Works to create an enthusiastic and dynamic learning environment where every student can learn
    • Advocates and creates positive, effective classroom management
    • Creates a student centered working environment that fosters positivity and creativity

    Yêu cầu công việc
    • Masters Degree or higher in Information Technology with a focus on Software Development
    • Currently living in Vietnam, Hanoi is preferred.
    • Able to acquire governmental permissions to live and work in Vietnam if not a Vietnamese national.
    • Teaching experience in a college or university is preferred
    • Ability to deal with a culturally, racially, and linguistically diverse group of students and Parents a must.
    • Competence in a variety of learning techniques with an ability to use them to enhance the student's learning
    • A passion for the subject and an ability to engage the students in the process of learning
    • Proven to work to create a learning environment where students learning needs can all be met.
    • Must be willing to work closely with instructional committees in order to research, plan, and develop new and exciting ways to enhance student learning
    • Ability to use the most current technology in an effective way, to build communication, planning and instructional tools
    • Must participate in professional development courses aligned with the school and direct initiatives.
