1. International handle:
To facilitate, monitor and ensure purchasing/development plan is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international legislation and regulations that relate to the operation as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards to deliver good organizational outcomes (current international markets: US, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Spain, Singapore, EU- UK)
To oversee the risk management framework that provides operational protection of organizational systems and services through the provision of control, management and delivery of the ongoing governance requirements, including assisting the Logistic, Legal and Sales Departments in all aspects of their work in relation to organizational governance and risk; and legislator and regulatory compliance
To perform the responsibilities of the organization's data in fulfilment of requirements of the international market
To support the enforcement of compliance regulations in all aspects and provide guidance and facilitate staff development in support.
2. Sourcing strategy:
Study countries' SWOT and establish the long-term sourcing's strategy
Establish New Product Sourcing Policies & Terms (What to source, how to source, where to source)
Establish a new vendor on-boarding policy
3. Develop vendors network:
Build the supplier's raw database with full information (contact, profiles)
Develop supplier evaluation & supplier ranking method.
Build & maintain supplier relationships & long-term partnerships.
Evaluate supplier's performance to decide the product's allocation frame.
4. Sourcing process:
Understand the needs of the market team & propose the right suppliers.
In collaboration with PD, Design, QA, Legal - lead the contract & price's negotiation.
Follow the development phase with PD until production's kick-off
5. Execution phase:
In collaboration with supply chain to follow-up the supplier's performance to ensure delivery on-time & good quality
Support supply chain & sales team for any issue during the product life cycle
Bachelor's degree in business, economics or related field.
Have at least 5-7 years working in supply chain, import export or sourcing
Analytical & Strategical approach, good know-how in logistic, custom, geopolitical
Chinese speaking is preferable
Microsoft skill (especially excel) and google spreadsheet is a plus
Strong people / relationship skills (EQ). Ability to coordinate & collaborate with different internal/external team.
Ability to work under pressure, meet established timelines & high demanding level
