Join the Global Sales team to drive our obsession with Availability and Visibility - to enable our sales teams to activate our brands to meet and create demand where, when and how shoppers shop.
The role will lead the Right Store (RS)/ Route to Market (RTM) strategy for MDLZ and work in collaboration with Regions and Business Units to drive digital and capability acceleration for Sales teams around the world and enable increased coverage expansion, profitably.
How you will contribute
You will:
Establish, align and deliver the MDLZ ambition, approach and strategy roadmap for Right Store:
Assess Global Right Store (RS) capability needs & define approach, strategic direction and priorities
Enable markets to analyze, uncover and unlock Insights and sized growth opportunities to profitably grow coverage outlet coverage around the world.
Align Global RS roadmap with Global Lead team and Regional Sales and BU teams
Enable markets to develop multi-year RS plans to deliver the strategic roadmap
Create/ refine & execute deployment of RS playbooks, tools, methodology & training materials
Support RS deep dives/ sprints in prioritized markets to assess & unlock growth opportunities
Lead a commercial relationship with strategic 3rd party partners such as merchandising service providers
Establish RS as a standard/ integrated MDLZ capability, ensuring markets access the right data, analytical & selling tools and RTMs to drive coverage expansion, sales effectiveness and cost to serve.
Understand regional and market data requirements for RS/ RTM and ensure ongoing level of sufficiency
Define digital/ analytical needs by Region/ BU & develop roadmap in partnership with Sales Digital team, Mondelēz Digital Services (MDS), Data & Analytics, Insights & Analytics.
Support / facilitate sharing of best practice tools and technology in RS including selected pilots
Represent RS for MDLZ inside MDLZ and externally
Support / facilitate business adoption of RS digital platforms and tools
Build required relationships with relevant cross functional teams & leaders across Regions and BUs
Build global RS communities to facilitate best practice sharing (including outside-in perspectives)
Manage RS relationships with all external RS partners (digital, 3rd merch, RS consultants)
Business-related tertiary qualification (ideally)
FMCG/ CPG industry Sales experience preferred (+10 years)
Sales experience in both developed and developing markets preferred (developing markets required)
Strong understanding of Sales Systems preferred (Salesforce automation a plus)
Experience in influencing without authority required
Country to country Relocation support available through our Global Mobility Policies
