About the Opportunity
Discova is looking for a Product Executive to join the team in Hanoi, Vietnam. This role will b support the Product and
Contracting Manager in delivery of effective and influential
product development activities. To become an 'expert' on available Vietnam products offered in BRS. To understand variations between main consumer markets, including their motivations to choose Vietnam. To be responsible for managing the product database in company's systems and keep internal and external product information up to date. Analyze and do benchmarking product portfolio of main competitors. The Product Executive will support the Product and Contracting Manager in managing Vietnam's product portfolio and be able to create inspirational itineraries that showcase Discova's authentic, local, and experiential product. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Leader with day-to-day key Product Development and account review & bidding activities
- Managing product database in Discova
reservation system.
- Contact internal teams and external suppliers to collect all needed tour information and picture material for brochures.
- Ensuring all tour description and image content of GIT / FIT packages and database content is up to date. Store them in the relevant server.
- Optional excursions for FIT and direct customers BT; develop new half-and full day excursions to be sold on the spot to guests. Update the optional lists regularly. In cooperation with IDS department update guests' information and optional list.
- Field research for new product ideas and improvements.
- Assist to create monthly newsletter on trends.
- Analyses feedback from agents, clients, Operations, Sales and IDS department relating to product development or improvements.
- Create templates for (update) contracts and tour itineraries.
- Ongoing interaction with other departments (Operations, Sales, IDS and Reservations) on new and existing product.
- Consistently benchmarking existing product portfolio with the main competitors.
- Propose ways to improve Vietnam product portfolio
