    Key objectives
    • Provide a full financial service to the Operations Management and various functions/departments of the factory.
    • Ensure manufacturing activities and performance are properly analysed, measured and translated into financial values to achieve improving manufacturing efficiency and financial targets.
    Job Responsibilities
    • Budgeting and planning
    • Provide effective planning, leading and co-ordination of the factory's annual budgeting and periodic review exercise in line with local and Corporate requirements.
    • Ensure the maintenance of a costing function, which meets statutory, local and headquarter requirements.
    • Costing, accounting and reporting
    • Provides and support the Operations Management with an effective standard costing system plus a regular reporting of deviations.
    • Take lead in preparation of standard cost budget and actual monthly financial reports for management review
    • Prepare financial reports which includes budgeting and forecasts, monthly closings, audit and tax reporting for operational costs. Provide insights by own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments, based on reporting guidelines.
    • Closely work with Operations team to drive efficiency and together with Operations Excellence team to take lead in validating and consolidating saving initiatives.
    • Assist Operations Finance Controller in preparing and validating business cases for capital investment request
    • Monitor to ensure that the actual spending on conversion cost is in line with approved budgets by providing effective monthly feedback to Management and cost centre managers.
    • Optimize standard costs, analyse deviations timely.
    • Management information, analysis and recommendation
    • Provide accurate and timely periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) reports on all production data, factory operating expenses and variances, both planning and operational, for Operations and Finance Management review.
    • Perform timely and detailed variance analysis including conversion and material costs to identify reason(s), in order to enable corrective measures to be undertaken for negative variances, and to capitalise on opportunities presented by positive variances to ensure on-going improvement of the factory's financial and operational performance.
    • Undertake decision support and sensitivity analysis for costing, expenses and pricing decisions.
    • Support the Focused Improvement Plan of WCOM.
    • Recommend, based on analysis, measures (i.e. investments) which improve operation KPI's in the short and long run.
    • Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    Experience:
    • Have at least 5 years of experience in the Finance department of international company, previous experience in Management Accounting in FMCG is an advantage
    • Have 1 - 2 years of experience in managerial level.
    • Finance savviness: operational knowledge on finance operations, including understanding financial processes & flows; understand P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
    • Business savviness: business acumen - understanding business models; broad business experience (e.g. across Supply Chain, B2C and B2B); be consumer & customer centric by in-depth understanding (outside-in view)
    Skills:
    • Good command of English
    • Business Partnering capabilities: communication / ability to land message; drive to improve / challenges status quo; constructive challenger / holding people to account; action oriented / make recommendations; results driven / fact based; see big picture / connecting the dots; building relationships at different level; show integrity.
    • Information savviness: IT proficiency (Excel/PPT/BI/ BW); see through the clutter - formulate insights; standardize information & performance management decks; bring together information from different sources (incl. non-financial); think in options & scenario's; lead journey towards predictive analytics.
