The Experience
In today's dynamic environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the
Supply chain team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and for the team in this ever-changing landscape.
What role will you play as a member of the team?
The role of Team Leader Electrical will interface with the all the functional team in the plant to lead all standards and responsibilities pertaining to Electrical systems and their maintenance and improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for upkeep of High Tension Yards, PCC and MCC Rooms in the facility.
- Ensures safety compliances in the High Tension Power Distribution areas by following LOTO Procedures, Electrical Safety, Access Controls and work permit systems.
- Conducts Arc Flash Survey and compliance to its finding
- Ensures CBM for Plant Electrical system using PdM tools.
- Ensures - for any new installation in the above areas - conducts risk assessment.
- Responsible for maintenance and distribution of power generated through DG's within the campus.
- Responsible for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of the Electrical systems of the site/FF.
- Responsible for maintenance of Earthing pits in the campus, electrical and utilities operations of focus factory - Finishing Vacuum Pumps, MCC Panels, HVAC Operations, Compressed air distribution, process chillers & Water System.
- Maintain & upkeep HT/LT Panels, MCC Panels and distribution panels and update drawings.
- Supports for all electrical activities related to FF - Finishing and Making Systems
- Responsible for portable tools inspection program in the facility
- Ensures safety compliances in the High Tension Power Distribution areas by following LOTO Procedures, Electrical Safety, Access Controls and work permit systems.
- Ensures any new installation in the above areas - conducts risk assessment.
- Responsible along with Manager Engineering and Projects, to follow-up and comply with statutory requirement related with power, e.g. RIO Approvals, Electricity Board Approvals, etc.
What you'll need...
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical systems management
- Knowledge of electrical and manufacturing systems
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, smart Sheets, Slides, Docs, Digital analytics ) preferred
