What's the opportunity and what will I be doing?
Investor Relations (IR) refers to the responsibility of managing communication between a company's corporate management and its investors. A Junior Investor Relations Officer will be responsible for supporting the Investor Relations team in their efforts to communicate with potential and existing shareholders, assist in the company's fundraising activities, provide assistance to the Board of Directors and respond to ad-hoc requests from the CEO.. Investor Relations professionals focus on the company's financial community, rather than its business customers or the general public.
RESPONSIBILITIES
❖ Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, reports and other materials for both internal and external stakeholders
❖ Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing shareholders, responding to inquiries and providing regular updates on company performance
❖ Provide support for the company's fundraising activities, including bond and equity issuances, debt refinancing, and other capital raising activities
❖ Assist the Board of Directors in their interactions with the management team and shareholders, including conducting market research, preparing materials for board meetings, coordinating investor outreach activities, and providing support for other ad-hoc requests from the Board of Directors
❖ Respond to ad-hoc requests from the CEO and other senior executives related to investor relations activities

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
❖ Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics or related field
❖ At least 2 years of previous experience in equity research, investor relations, investment banking, or similar areas
❖ Excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills
❖ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
❖ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
❖ Professional in handling confidential information
❖ Flexible and under high pressure
❖ Good written and oral communication skills in English
❖ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
