Working time: 8 AM - 5:15 PM from Monday to Friday.
Currently, MVC is seeking a HR & admin. manager who is willing to challenge to draw-up the organization from ground zero
Duties and responsibilities:
• Be a Builder :
- Take lead to design and implement compensation programs, performance management system, and learning & development practices.
• Be a Brain :
- Take lead to design, implement and conduct PDCA of talent management system including grand design and strategy building from recruitment, allocation, career development, etc..
- Help MVC's management to deal with and to reduce/manage risk of HR related matters by providing suggestions based on local regulations/laws.
• Be a Leader :
- Take lead our company's HR policy and the HR team as we scale.
• HR
Administration related matters : manage labor agreement, social security, personal income tax, work permit, labor dispute, on-boarding, and staff relation.
• Other administrative matters such as purchasing items and car management.
(1) Must-have requirement
• A progressive, entrepreneurial spirit combined with 5+ years of successful business partnership at management level, with proven success linking HR strategies to the business.
• A flexible leader who is able to operate at a highly strategic level to design HR solutions for the future, while also managing day-to-day HR matters. We are looking for someone who is both people (culture, onboarding, employee experience) and systems centered (processes, capabilities, compliance).
• Deep understanding of foundational HR areas (learning & development, compensation, performance management, benefits, payroll, immigration, legal, compliance, employee relations)
• Good knowledge of labor regulations and labor law.
• Has soft skills in terms of work permit, visa, residential permit, and good relationship with local authority.
• Experience building and implementing scalable and high-quality HR solutions across diverse teams.
• Strong communication/active listening skills and the ability to deal effectively, empathetically, and courteously with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
(2) Nice-to-have requirement
• Related Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in
Human Resources and/or Organization Development.
• Experience living/working in Japan, working directly with Japanese companies, or other relevant cross-cultural/international work experience
