Basic Qualifications
The accountant must possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and knowledge of financial systems, with at least two years of experience in accounting.
Qualifications
The accountant will assist with the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports related to office expenses and payables. S/he must be well organized with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal
communication skills. The accountant must pay attention to detail, follow through on projects, and handle multiple tasks. S/he must also take initiative, juggle conflicting priorities and function well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Account Payable:
Responsible for the payment/advance process of Edelman.
Follow the compliance policy.
Control office expenses.
Record and do reconcile accounting entries into the FAST-accounting system.
Tax preparation report, CF & Ad hoc report
Client Servicing
Support the department by maintaining files, contracts, and invoices.
Assemble all supporting
documentation.
Running all required month-end reports and files
Assist with special projects utilizing Excel.
Understand the process of instruction and follow up with the Client team.
Financial Management and Planning
Assist with various aspects of accounting including maintenance, control, and analysis
Assist with the preparation of the general ledger and journal entries.
Ability to research financial issues.
Complete personal timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner
People Development
Contribute to performance appraisal process for peers and managers.
Build a working relationship and communication with staff as well as provide the appropriate support.
