About the job:
As Business Information Purchase, you work every day together to support Purchasing in decision making and achieving results by delivering relevant and accurate information at the right time, based on business needs. This requires passion for and ability to spot business opportunities behind data, an analytical and business drive mind-set, strong written and verbal communication skills being a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills and motivated by working with different systems.
About the assignment:
Support with accurate and relevant reporting to get a fact-based picture of the business situation as base for decision
Promote and support usage of global business information and user-friendly standard reporting tools as preferred tools to support performance navigation.
Support co-workers to understand principles and calculation methods of key performance indicators
Develop and implement tools to support business plans and action plans processes; consolidate information and perform analysis on aggregated level
Assist to secure data quality of Purchase business information and use information from the data sources
Produce ad hoc reports when standard solutions are not available to satisfy business needs.
Perform and present preliminary
business analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
Identify current and future business needs and determine relevant information/reporting required to provide needed information
Contribute in the development and implementation of tools and
IT applications specific to Purchasing
From time to time, support BNFA PLASEA with various local tasks and projects to enhance the total Supply Performance in SEA.
Qualification
University degree within Finance, Accounting and relevant work experience
Deep knowledge of intelligent business information tools such as Power BI, Qlik sense, other apps in Microsoft etc (knowing how to developer 365 apps is a plus).
Knowledge of controlling methodology Understanding of
project management tools.
Very good knowledge of market specific conditions and macroeconomics trends.
Good understanding of how your everyday work adds value to business results.
Good knowledge of the IKEA Business Model, IKEA Business Model for Growth, IKEA Concept (including IKEA vision, business idea, cultures and values and business navigation diamond), IKEA Strategic Landscape, especially Purchasing Strategy.
Knowing about IKEA Purchasing Year Cycle and Governance Structure, IKEA Purchase Development Process (PDP), Supplier Development Process (SDP) & Develop Product Offer Process (DPOP).
