JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Mid. QA/QC Engineer for a
software consultant company building products for our German partners in the Health care/ Medical field. To share about our systems:
With our Technical stack: We use Next.js for the front end. On the backend, we are on the move of incorporating GraphQL and Prisma to enable Next.js even further. A big part of the backend is currently written in Golang and Java. The application is split into multiple microservices, deployed onto a Docker Swarm infrastructure and we are using MongoDB
On the testing side: we use Unit tests; Integration tests and Component tests where applicable; End-to-end tests using Cypress and Playwright
In this position, you have the following:
Key Responsibilities
Be the quality gate of a multiple-year product
Work closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Technical Lead to improve the product quality
Help build Test Plan
Analyze and help the Product team with writing testing notes prior to handing them over to the Development
Test, log bugs, track bugs, and prioritize bug fixing with the Product Team
Prepare testing data
Support developers in fixing bugs
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
At least 2 years of professional experience in a medium size project;
A plus if you have Healthcare domain knowledge;
Comfortable working in a
Product Development environment where things are unclear, being changed, and a lot of questions;
Good English speaking and writing skills
Either very strong at manual testing.
Skills and Experience
Independent and self-motivated.
Have a strong sense of Quality Assurance to build a sensible Test Plan and Quality Control to build Test Cases.
Have good analytical skills, you know what and where to put your focus.
Have solid and soft skills, open-mindedness, and a can-but-not-blindly-do attitude.
Fast learner, willing to share, willing to learn.
Have experience in the Agile/Scrum team.
Understand the value of utilizing tests to manage delivery quality, but with balance.
