COMPANY INTRODUCTION
ABOUT LEGO MANUFACTURING VIETNAM
LEGO® Manufacturing Vietnam (LMV) will be our sixth factory globally and the second in Asia. The new site expands LEGO's global supply chain, with Vietnam's proximity to its major markets. The Vietnam factory will provide flexibility to respond quickly to shifts in local consumer demand, shorten the supply chain and reduce the environmental impact of shipping long distances. The factory will focus on moulding and packing, and will supply the Asian growing market. First LEGO will manufactured in Vietnam in 2024. LMV will also be The LEGO Group's first carbon neutral factory as it plans to match the energy consumption with solar power from panels on its roof and from a nearby farm. It is being built to support additional long-term growth in Asia so the company can continue to deliver play experiences to many more children in the years to come.
