Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the
Global Product Content Manager in
London or any existing Save the Children International office location. ROLE PURPOSE:
This role will be in charge of the creative development and delivery of impactful content on key products, including child and sponsorship, that will help motivate existing and prospective sponsors and donors across the globe.
This role will help to strengthen fundraising and marketing strategies by working with key stakeholders to test and innovate content collection to align with the evolution of sponsorship and other key fundraising products. It will also help to elevate existing product content to support the larger Movement.
This role will be the primary point of contact for over 20 country offices in ensuring the creation of high-quality content (written, photo and video) that inspires sponsors and donors to start or continue supporting Save the Children. It will support the fundraising needs of all global Members while ensuring the safety and security of the children represented in our
marketing content.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience of developing, communicating and leading successful delivery of fundraising content for child sponsorship or similar products.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and organization skills with experience of working with international teams and time zones.
- An understanding and experience of content gathering in different countries and situations
- He/she must be able to solve problems independently and be a self-starter, taking opportunity to improve systems, training and materials as needed.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Personal drive and commitment for wanting to affect positive changes and drive action that leads to social and political advances.
- Proven project management skills delivering complex projects on time and on budget
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence and negotiate both internally and externally
- Cultural sensitivity, with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
- A proven ability to distil large amounts of information for diverse audiences; skills in other languages would be an advantage
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple demands and competing priorities, while maintaining high quality standards
- An ability to work as part of a team within a networked structure, and to maintain good working relationships with colleagues across functional and geographical boundaries
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt work plans flexibly depending on external opportunities
- This position requires fluency in English, second language skills a plus.

We can offer circa £40,000 per annum (If based in UK) with an option of flexible working hours. If the role is based outside of the UK, National T&C (including pay) will apply.
This role can be based in London or any existing Save the Children International Regional or Country office location on approval, provided the successful candidate has proof of eligibility to work from the preferred location.
