Experience and Requirements
Must have requirements
Proficient in one or more of the following: Python, Go, C++
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and
administration (e.g. filesystems, inodes, system calls) and networking (e.g. TCP/IP, routing, network topologies, SDN)
Hands-on experience working with RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Experience in ETL and developing SQL database solutions
Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting systems
Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines
Ability to debug, optimize code and automate routine tasks
Ability to take self-directed and systematic problem solving approach
Good to have requirements
Experience working with big data ecosystem and map-reduce framework (e.g. Hadoop, Kafka, Presto, HBase, Cassandra, Spark, Flink, Beam, Ceph, MinIO, HDFS)
Ability to design, analyze and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems
Ability to prioritize and plan for future SRE direction
