WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Nike Flyknit team delivers the most innovative and sustainable athletic footwear in the world. As a Flyknit Costing Manager, you will ensure efficient and effective Flyknit manufacturing at scale, leveraging Nike Flyknit best practices and the NIKE Costing Framework. You will act as an analytical thought partner to the Flyknit team in support of strategic growth within Nike's footwear business.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of the Flyknit Cost Engineering function by
delivering accurate, innovative, and timely seasonal knit pricing.
You will define new processes and tools to drive competitive, sustainable, and standardized costing for Flyknit products.
You will support fair and competitive price negotiations on new Flyknit innovations.
You will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Partners to establish labor process standards and capture value for optimization initiatives.
You will understand current business agreements with manufacturing partners and provide input on future opportunities to drive visibility and value to Nike.
This role will act as both an internal and external subject matter expert in NIKE Flyknit Costing.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will be part of the Vietnam Flyknit Operations team.
You will partner closely with Flyknit Product Creation Teams to inform, drive and facilitate product decisions which meet performance, aesthetic,
sustainability, and profitability goals. You will seek new ways of engaging with development partners to elevate costing capabilities within the Flyknit team.
You will work closely with NIKE Development, Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing Partners to actively manage cost drivers. This includes detailed review/analysis of documentation and actual manufacturing processes for complete, accurate and optimized product costing.
You will lead and influence costing discussions with Manufacturing Partners throughout all phases of creation and production. You will help move our Flyknit business forward on fair and positive terms with our key external partners. You will clearly and concisely communicate costing recommendations, leveraging engineering and manufacturing knowledge, for product or process improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING
Requirements for the position include:
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Engineering, Business Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including Product Costing, Engineering, Development, Automation, Lean, Manufacturing, footwear preferred. Related disciplines also acceptable
• Knowledge of footwear construction, manufacturing, innovation, costing, and global business management; experience with footwear supply chain preferred
• Apparel or Footwear experience in knit products is a plus
• A pragmatic thinker and creative problem solver, who will research and drive collective resolution on both structural framework and tactical costing issues
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain flexible, be results-oriented, and work productively in an environment of ambiguity
• Strong verbal and written
communication skills
• Strong influencing, motivational and leadership skills
• High proficiency using MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
