The Job
As Engineering Manager, you will work across several B.O.T.s. You will coach Development Managers in setting up and managing development teams for overseas clients. Based on your experience you will implement best practices for scaling our B.O.T. organization.
The Engineering Manager is responsible for managing an organization of several B.O.T.s
- Coaches and manages Development Managers
- Builds best practices for setting up new development teams
- Coaches development teams in applying Scrum and DevOps
- Manages employee career development by providing coaching and mentoring
- Collaborates across functions including areas outside of Tech
- Encourages collaboration across our B.O.T.s
- Drives and facilitates organizational changes
- Provide continuous support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular coaching activities and support them in fulfilling their personal development plans.
Your Skills and Experience
- University degree in IT field
- Scrum certificates
- Experience working with international clients and on/offshore working model
- Strong knowledge in software engineering processes
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills
- Excellent customer and internal team relationship building skills
- Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, dedication, and commitment
- Fluent in EnglishExperience in a management position in an international software company
- At least 5 years of experience in managing software development teams
- Be happy to coach, mentor and train less senior colleagues
