We are looking for a SEASONAL employee who is interested in working in the
Customer Service team (Export) at CMA CGM Vietnam.
This position will sign a 6-month contract to backup for maternity leave.
The tasks you are expected to perform:
- Sending Sailing Schedule to customers
- Balance vessel weight/ allocation (cut-list)
- Inform customers any change of schedule - delay/omit vessels/ roll-over/ M.V/ transit time/ evacuation plan
- Handle COD/Ship Back request - check cost & routing, communicate to HO/ POT/POD & customer to arrange COD/ship-back confirmation
- Solve customers' complaints: bad equipment, damaged cargo, vessel delay, rollover...
- Container miss-matching checking with customers (including x-stuffing)
- Follow up transit time
- SOP sent to customers: Loading confirmation, Sailing schedule, agreed forecast...
- Chase VGM
- Send idle notice to customers (idle containers at POD)
- Inform customers of the new SOP instructed by HO (OFAC countries, Africa,...)
- Check container list/co-operate with OPS/TTS on holding request, x-stuffing, wrong POD customs, wrong vessel, shifting, temperature discrepancy, ...)
- Handle Sale lead from agents - check with customers to arrange loading plan
To perform the job well, you would need:
- Education: College/ Bachelor degree; major in Sea Transportation, Export- Import, International Business, Foreign Trade, International Business,...
- Experience: 0.5-3 years working experience in a similar position in a shipping company or Freight Forwarder
- Personalities: careful, hardworking, responsible, teamwork spirit, high accountability, Customer Service mindset.
- Skills: Problem Solving, Good Communication
- Language: Fluent
English communication- Computer: an intermediate level of MS Office.
