1. Responsibilities of Compliance
Organize Compliance training, awareness session, bilateral communication with keeping high compliance literacy for employees following headquarters' Compliance program, effective local program and followed by local regulation and low.
Operate Compliance Counter function (Consultation, Report, Countermeasure and including investigation based on making clear process)
Monitor local events from event Compliance perspective due to mitigate potential risk based on local/regional regulation and low.
Report to headquarter Compliance (appraisal, activity report, whistle blowing report) and resolve the matter as earlier as possible
Participation in Regional Compliance meeting in case
Communication with local Compliance resources (law firm, consultant firm) to grasp the latest situation in order to utilize outsources effective knowledge.
Participation in Regional initiatives, Compliance Certification Initiatives, Compliance Survey Initiatives, Built up Digital Compliance Platform
Risk Management (regional and local as CSA Promotor)
Lead the project for maintenance and updated for SOPs and guidelines with accuracy and effective tule as regularly for the Company in line with compliance purposes due to mitigate potential and future risk.
2. Responsibilities of Legal with compliance perspective
Review and give comments on related to standard business contracts, agreements, arrangements, and legal
documentations to secure the compliance of current regulations and to protect the Company's interests to utilize outsources expert knowledge.
Give timely and appropriate legal related to Compliance perspective advice for internal clients on various business operation matters
Respond to legal disputes, litigations or Compliance issues, including timely communications with headquarters in Japan and with external counsels
Enhance and maintain the corporate governance
At least seven (5) years of experience in private practice, in-house positions are necessary.
Working experience in
pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
Working experience in Compliance, risk assessment function with multi-national corporations is preferred
Knowledge in anti-bribery/anti-corruption (not only in Vietnam, but also include Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in the U.S. and the Bribery Act in the U.K.) and experience of establishment of internal structure and drafting of internal rules are necessary
Knowledge of the status of Vietnam pharmaceutical industry (the marketing code, including violation cases) is necessary
Good in execution as well as drawing up regulations/ policies
Knowledge of labor law (including sexual harassment, power harassment), antitrust law, intellectual property law, pharmaceutical laws in Vietnam is necessary
Experiences in employee training (for the need of legal & compliance training to employees)
Excellent spoken & written by Business English good communication skills
Have strong analysis, problem solving, negotiation and presentation skills
Independent mindset with good ability of risk analyzing in reviewing business transactions
Able to manage multiple tasks according to business/ team structures in need
