Job Summary
The role of the commercial director is responsible for the implementation and execution of VPS commercial strategy and manage overall sales and marketing activities. The commercial director will drive VPS sales objectives (Volume & Net Sales).
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement tactical sales plan of VPS and be accountable for delivery of sales targets
• Collaborate with marketing and product manager to increase effectiveness and deliver commercial objectives
• Support negotiation of partnerships agreements with key accounts
• Driver commercial excellence (Volume allocation, Pricing strategy,...)
• Establish "
continuous improvement" culture, identify potential areas of improvement, and formulate improvement concepts to increase customer satisfaction
• Acquire dynamic knowledge of market trends, technologies, regulatory trends and competitive landscape
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the market to establish better supply and demand forecasts and identify and evaluate new opportunities.
• Provide continuous input when developing company strategy
• Represent commercial view in cross functional project discussions
• Ensure full compliance with the highest business standards and ethics
• Collaborate with R&D and costumers/partners to develop new products adding value to our customers.
• Attendance of domestic and overseas relevant conferences

Educational Background and prior professional experience
• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Science, Chemical or Engineering (or other technical discipline)
• 7+ years of experience in commercial sales management of industrial products
• Proven track record in (technical) sales in B2B environment in domestic & overseas Asian markets
• Practical understanding of industrial mineral / raw material business dynamics
• Have deep understanding of Glass industry, costumer buying process and related market dynamics
